Business Notification:Email not sent

Hi,

I have setup Business Notification for a field-change based notification.
Event is triggered when the value in field changes but the emails are not sent.
The notification is queued in the SMTP server but not sent to the recipient specified.
The Business Notification Log displays the above message.
Can anyone help me

    Ofcourse we can help u.

    First of all - let me undestand what u might hv done and correct me if i'm wrong.

    1. u hv defined an event and defined the internal/external recipients .
    2. populated a case which triggers this event.
    3. U hv chosen standard template.

    A. In order to send the notifications.. u should do the following.

    B . go to Manufacturing -- > execution -- > business notification work sheet -- > click on line -- > suggest notification lines - which populates all the notification lines due to delivered.

    but before u do this step-- check up the setup available at
    administration -- > application setup -- > General -- > business notification setup --> ensure that u hd a check mark in "send notifications".

    Now assuming the above step has been done and now follow the sequence of B ->

    C. go to functions -- > send to business notification.

    This will trigger the mailing sequence.

    Namaste Freinds!

    I have problem in creating new Template in Business Notf. Manager

    it gives me error "There is no business entity, Please check if Company
    is selected in Navision".


    Then I tried to install the BSN after uninstalling the .NetFramework2.0
    now it gives me the error while installing "'Creation of NSInstallPath Registry Key failed'

    Hi Srikal,

    Thanks for the reply
    Is this also done for the field change based notification.
    According to my understanding this is done for time based notification.Right?
    And more over the Notification mails are already queued up in the SMTP server so i think some problem in SMTP Server itself.
    can you suggest me something for this?

    While creating new template, have you received below error
    any time?


    "There is no business entity, Please check if Company
    is selected in Navision".

    Hi Darshan,

    Ya had got that error.Try the following:
    Error:
    "There are no business entities available. Please ensure there is a company selected in Navision."

    The problem is in .NET version. Try to make two TXT files with the following code:

    <?xml version ="1.0"?>
    <configuration>
    <startup>
    <supportedRuntime version="v1.1.4322" />
    </startup>
    </configuration>

    Save it as fin.exe.config and finsql.exe.config. These two files copy in Navsion folder.

    1. Start Navision, select company
    2. Start Business Notification Manager

    Hi!

    I have created a event in Business Notification for Blocked
    Customer. Whenever any customer will be blocked in NAV, mail
    will be sent to the respective user.

    In my case email is going to the user when any customer is blocked,
    But every time first customer which was blocked, his name and address is being sent in email.

    Hi!

    My Business Notification Worksheet sends the email for each n every
    report line, i.e if my report generates 10 lines the it will send 10 email
    message to the user.

    Is there anything to club these all lines just in one email message??

    Did you achieve this task of consolidating all mails into one mail and sending at last.
    If so please help me in elaborating about how you have achieved this task.

    Iam getting the following error while creating a new shema .
    "An Error occurred while trying to connect to navision,make sure that your navision cliebt is running"
