India workflow authorization

Hi Masters,
I am working on crouns databse of Indian localization sp1.
I am trying to assign workflow authorization. I donw some setups like below.
I created two users one with Super and MGR.
I assigned work flow authorization for MGR like below.
NAVIGATION: FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT��WORKFLOW��SETUP��USER SETUP • Click the User-id field and select the user-id MGR you created above. Give an email id in the e-mail field.
WORKFLOWSETUP - WORKFLOW TEMPLATE Selected the following entries in workflow template header:
Transaction Type: Purchase ,Document Type: order
Select the following workflow template lines:
Activity: Authorization
Task/Authorization Level: Enter 1 here.
Min. Value: Enter 1000 here.
Max. Value: Enter 100000 here.
User ID: Select MGR here from the look up
Response Time in Minutes: Enter 30 in this field and close this
Now I created a purchase order with super user id. Now I send to authorization , then the system is asking “Do u want to send for authorization.” I click Yes.
Now I opened with MGR user id . But I am not getting any message.
What is the problem . How to solve this issue. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

1.login with that user id
2. Open the user task form and check whether any task is created
for that user?
You have define the value salbs as 1000 to 100000
check whether your P.O. value is with in this lmit or not?
Or else uou can try two slabs.
0 to 1000
1001 to 100000
Also to get the message through email, you have to do the setup
on Company Information=>Workflow TabDarshan Mungekar

I set up like this in workflow template as u advised.
Level Min.Value Max.Value UserID
1 0 1,000 SUPER
2 1,001 15,000 MGR
Now I created a purchase order , line amount is 4000 with The user Id Super.
Now I opened with MGR , I could not get that message.
Even I checked User tasks form ,In that form transaction was entered.
That field Message sent has a check mark
That field Message displayed does not have a check mark.
What is problem. I am waiting for u r valuable suggestion.

Have you done setup on Purchase & payable setup?
tick on Authorization required.
In Purchase order, you have to execute the Authorization
function. Then only system will send the message.Darshan Mungekar

ANSWER : Yes I setup on Purchase & Payable setup, tick on Authorization required
In Purchase order, you have to execute the Authorization
function. Then only system will send the message ?
Answer : Yes , I run that function Authorization .
When I run that function imeediately system asks Do u want to send for Authorization , then I click Yes.
Now when I opened with another Id , I am not getting any message
What is problem ?

I did the same setup in my cronus database and its working.
try one think, in workflow template remove the user id.
In P.O. execute "Authorization" function. If system gives the
message "User ID '' does not exists", Then it means its

Hi hansika..
Follow the below procedure to setup workflow to have authorizations on purchase order which i have worked and tested and is working fine.
1) First setup the database logins as you require.
2) Now in the workflow setup, on workflow template setup as form as below:
Authorizationlevel MinValue MaxValue UserID Response
1 0 10000 MGR 30
2 10001 100000 SUPER 30
3) Now in the User setup add both the user ID's(for the above e.g.)
4) Finally in the Purchase & payable setup check the authorization required field.
Now with MGR as user ID if you create a purchase order and if the value is above 10000, it asks for authorization(if you try to post the order)
Now click on the Authorization from the functions menu button so that the PO will be send for authorization.
I THINK AT THIS STAGE YOU ARE FACING A PROBLEM I MEAN TO SAY WHEN U R LOGGING IN TO SUPER ID U R NOT ABLE TO SEE THE CONTENTS IN THE TASK FORM...
For this, as many have mentioned, wait for 2 min or so and then login to SUPER user id. Now hopefully u may be able to see the contents in the task form. (DONT FORGET TO WAIT FOR 2 OR SO MIN BEFORE U LOGIN TO THE USER WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE AUTHORIZED)

Do one thing, use Cronus standard database with new

I use use Cronus standard database with new FDB file.
Even I tried this on 4.0 Sp1 , SP 2 and SP3. But no use.
I could not understand what is the problem.
What I think do I need to setup in any where .
Please throw u r valuable suggestions.

Just confirm the License you are using contains the Local Granule for "Multilevel Authorization and Workflow" ID=16320 or not.
if yes, try once again in the same sequence as below:
1. Take a fresh Cronus DB.
2. Make two user IDs, say USER and SUPER both with "super" roles.
3. Click "Authorization required" =True in Purchases & Payables Setup.
4. Setup the same IDs in the User Setup of workflow.
5. Delete the existing lines of WOrkflow Template = Purchase > Order.
6. Make a new Line as Level=1, Min.Val=0, Max Val=10000, ID=SUPER, Time=1.
7. Login with USER and make an order with value<10000. Send for authorization from FUnctions> Authorization.
8. Login with SUPER and see.
It works fine in Cronus. If not like this, must be some probs with your DB.Regards,

Task Min. Value Max. Value User ID
1 0 10,000 SA1
2 10,001 99,999,999 SA2
2)On Purchase & payable setup, authorization required field is checked.
3) Create a P.O. with value Rs 5000/- and click on
Functions=>Authorization.
P.O will be sent to user SA1.Darshan Mungekar
