hi all, I have to use the toolkit in order to upgrade from 2.60 to 5.0; i get an error when I try to import the txt file for 2.60 version (.stx file).
What can I do?

What toolkit (or part of it) are you refering to? Are you migrating just data or code as well?
Are you trying to go from 2.6 to 3.7/4 here in the first step/phase?
I certainly do not envy you in this task, especially if you are moving the code in a heavily modified database as well, absolute nightmare if you do not have the v2.6 database already translated. Sometimes it is better to simply not even attempt to do the code, and simply reimplement the system functionality from scratch in v5.0.

thank you MTC...and luckly the standard obj are not very modified...the toolkit is the last one (with the last logo of Dynamics) I read on whitepaper that the migration is done in this way 2.60->4.00->5.00...is this a correct procedure?
last question: what does it mean migrating the code?i read about it but it's not fairly clear to me...
it means to change the name of the variables for example?0
