Posting of item consumption without a production order.

Hello,

How can we declare and post consumption of items like following as there can't be a production order for them?
1)Machine spares.
2)Lubricants,coolants required for proper machine operation.
3)Waste cloth required for machine cleaning.

    "Negative Adjustment".
    If you can not directly relate some material with the production as is the case with most of the consumables, tools and spares then they are consumed by negative adjustment at the time of issue (recommended, but may vary according to the facts of the case).

    Namaste !

    thats correct, in manufacturing process for consumables
    and other non BOM items pass -ve adjustment on store location.

    Also consider the G/L effect for the same.

    i.e Inv Adjt Acc and Inv Acc
