Item Reclassification Journal

Hi

I need a clarification on Item Reclassification Journal. I want to transfer an item from one bin to another bin, but without changing the serial numbers for the item. But the system is insisting me to give new serial numbers which i want to avoid. Is there anyway we can do it?

    You need to set the same serial no. in the Item tracking. If you want to do that automatically, you will need some modification in C/AL code.

    I am not seeing same serial no. field in the Item tracking code card. Please help me understand where is it?

    There is one check box SN Transfer Tracking, which is checked in my case.

    I mean same value into "New Ser. No." field in the tracking line.
