Export To Excel

Hi there,

I'm brand new to navision programming. My first project is to make a report and export it to Excel.

What are my tasks to do this? The report is ready. But how can I prepare to make an excel table from it?

Please show me a step by step solution. And where can I found a programming reference for excel reporting?

(Anyway I use Microsoft Dynamics Navision 4.0 SP2).

Take a look at report 82. It exports to excel using Excel Buffer table

Lazlow: I have the same situation. I have reviewed the previous threads but have yet to make mine work. Being a newby, it would help to see some comments in the example code. Does anyone know where I could find detail information on statements that were used in the sample code? (i.e. TempExcelBuffer.Createbook -or- TempExcelBuffer.Createsheet). I'd like to learn more about these commands but don't know where to look.

Not by default, but you can extend the excel buffer to include new functionality.
