Item Issue & g/l Entry Table

While doing negative adjustment through item journal the no of lines posted into g/l entry is to many, as it posts item wise entries.Is there any way to post the lines item group wise instead of item wise to minimal the size of g/l entry.

    With "Automatic Posting" marked "True" in Inventory setup system will always post item wise entries in GL other wise in the batch job "Post Inventory Cost to G/L" you can use the option of selecting posting method "Per Posting Group". This will reduce the entries in GL but the link between value entry and GL entry is also lost. So use carefully.
