Installing SQL Server For Microsoft Dynamics on x64 Server

I'm trying to install the SQL Server for Microsoft Dynamics (it's on the Dynamics price list) on a x64 server.

The CPU is an Intel Xeon 5130 with the EM64T.

When I try to run the windows installer for the SQL Server the following error occurs "The Microsoft SQL Server Native Client Package is not supported on the current processor type."

Right now I'm reading a lot of documents about how to implement the WoW64, or how to run x32 applications on x64 processors.

Has everyone done this before?!?!?

Thanks for your help

Paulo

Are you using correct installation CD? If you are installing in an x64 Server you should install x64 SQL Server

The SQL Server (runtime) on the Dynamics price list is 32 bit.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

    bbrown,

    that's the problem.

In the Dynamics Price list you can only sell the 32 bit version.

Microsoft told me that there was no problem installing a 32 bit version on 64 bit server, and there are a lot of documents about that, but of very little help

Nunomaia, the link that you provided has a lot of downloads, I didn't notice anything that would help, please tell me that I'm wrong, and that you know the solution ;)

    thanks for your help
