1 Install Microsoft Dynamics AX (AOS)
2 Install Microsoft Dynamics AX Client
3 Start AOS
4 Open Client

Make your mind if you are going to install it as a single installation or in client server model.

The Server which you install AOS must me WIndows 2003 SP2 or later.

For better performance use diffrent server for AOS, Database in client server model.

Single installation is a poor performer when compared to the other.
