and 1420(application server) qty 10.

does this mean that only 20 users can acces the NAV SQL DB at one time.
and only 10 users can access the NAS at one particular time.

Correct.

With 1 remark:
Let's say you have 10 DB's on 1 SQLServer.
If you put your license in SQLServer, those users/NAS are the total FOR THE SQLSERVER. So you have 20 sessions+10 NAS to divide between 10 DB's

If you put your license in each DB of the SQLServer, those users/NAS are FOR EACH DB. So you have 20 sessions+10 NAS FOR EACH DB.

For that, you need an extra granule "Per Database". I'm not sure it's in the business essentionals license include... .

Aren't the NAS sessions included in the total sessions? So in the example of this thread, out of the 20 total sessions, aren't 10 of those 20 taken by NAS?

I think no, because it is about granules count, not sessions count.

for eg granule id 1200(session) qty 10->Means 10 licenses->so how many Sessions ie how many clients can access Navision SQL DB?

Licensed Sessions fiel in Database Information dialog is SUM of all Sessions you have. NAS + User sessions.

Example:
10 Application Server Sessions (Granule 1420)
50 User Sessions (Granule 1200)

Licensed Sessions = 60

Just 50 users can connect, and you can run 10 application servers connected to this DB (native) or SQL Server (SQL Option without Per Database license).
