Is there a way to determine which role specifically allows a user to print checks in 3.7?

Apparently modify access to table 270 and indirect modify to table 271 is a requirement. More searching should reveal which default roles have this access. Any input is always appreciated.

In an unchanged Navision 3.7 install, which permissions would be associated with tables 270 & 271 for the following two roles: P&P-JOURNAL, POST and P&P-Q/O/I/R/C, POST?

P&P-JOURNAL, POST is the role for the payment journal. The other one is for posting of Purchase Orders.

Okay, so I should definitely remove the P&P-JOURNAL role if I don't want a user to print a check. Agree?

Yep. More specifically, you don't want to give the user permission to write or modify into table 81, Gen. Journal Line.
