Why is the "On Hold" only 3 characters?

Just wondering if anyone knows why the "On Hold" field in the Customer and Vendor Ledger Entries is only Code3.

Tradition.
It's been this since the "blue" Navision text versions. And it's doing its job, so why change it?

Doesn't need to be changed.
I was just wandering because almost al Code fields are 10 or 20 long.
I ran into it because we are thinking about making an extra On Hold table (with Code10), Description and some other fields to use for customer specific situation.0 -

this can be safely expanded to C10, IMO.

In Dutch it is 'Ja', and if I am right it is 'Ja' in Danish too.
Then Code2 would be enough0 -
