fob is "financials objects" - it is file with objects in binary format (text format exists too)... you can import it into Object designer in Navision (but you must know, what it is, for which DB, for which customer etc...)
how could i know the tables they're using?
for example, i get it from the folowing add. http://www.mibuso.com/dlinfo.asp?FileID=207
can you tell me how to use it?
basically, i need to export/import data from navision to/from excel
thank you
Yes, you can use this objects, but you need to have their numbers in your licence... (if you are customer)... if you are from NSC, please, let your collegue explain how to work with Navision objects, read designers guide etc...
to know the tables they are using when u import the file just say no after the message that no conflicts are found and it will show u the ids of the object it is using .After that u have a choice if u wanna skip or create .Moreover if u r with any NSC u would be having the dev license.
And if u have decided to import the objects u can have a look at them by putting a filter on the Modified field (Only if it is a virgin database) which objects u have imported
