UOM and Bin Content

Using Nav 3.7a on SQL Server
Location = Bin Mandatory
NO WMS (yet)

Using Manufacturing we created an item in "BOX" unit of measure that has 8 "EACH" in it.

Posted it in the consumption journal.

Went to sell it throught sales orders (as eaches) and realized that it had to be in "EACH" instead of "BOX".

I thought that doing a negative adjustment of the "BOX" and a positive for the correct amount of "EACH" would solve the problem #-o ...

BUT, when i try to reduce the "BOX" quantity to zero I get an error message

Quantity must be greater than 80 in Bin Content Location Code = 'W', Bin Code = 'W-3-01', Item No. 'XXXX', Variant Code='', Unit of Measure Code = 'EACH'

There are no Item Tracking Entries or Reservation Entries for this Item.

The Bin Content shows that there are 80 "BOX" in this Bin (that is the only quantity on hand).

Any thoughts/ideas on how to fix it would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

-J

    There are some bugs in consumption journal when you are using another MU than base measure unit...
