Opening DEV I&II course material with Word 2007.

I have a strange problem that actually has nothing to do with Navision, but hope someone else out there knows what is going on.
I am trying to print out the Training courses but cant print pictures. The fiels are .doc (word 2003 I guess) files, and I am opening them with 2007. In the folder where I extracted all the document, I have 9for example)
NA50_ENUS_DEVI_00.doc
NA50_ENUS_DEVI_00_001.PNG
NA50_ENUS_DEVI_00_002.PNG
NA50_ENUS_DEVI_00_003.PNG
When I open the doc file, the pictures are just a red [X]
I could manually re-embed the pictures, but there are 24 docs, and some have 20-30 pictures, and other than assuming the pics are in sequence, there is no way to be certain which pic goes where.
Has anyone else seen this issue or know how to fix it?
PS I would attach the documents here, but I am pretty sure that that is not allowed. The files are all dated Jan 2007. So I guess another option is to get newer versions, but in this case the training is specifically for Ver 5 so I wanted to keep the documentation to match.
Thanks in advance.

No it give the same problem.
But its solved now. It looks like the files had been saved with a bad version of word.
Thanks to Luc for helping me sort this out. \:D/David Singleton0
