create a warehouse shipment > quantity to ship = 0

Hello,

When I create a warehouse shipment through a sales order, or when I already have a warehouse shipment and add lines by executing 'filters to get source docs', then the field 'qty. to ship' is always filled with the quantity of the order. But I want that the field 'qty. to ship' = 0. And manually update it when a item is ready to ship. Is this possible?

As usually qty in qty-to-ship field shows order qty but if you want to change it then you can for more then one shipment to a single order.

But how can this be done automatically? That everytime I make a shipment, the quantity to ship = 0.
