User <-> Item Journal Batch

Hello,

is there any way to make a User automatically using a specified Item Journal Batch ?
Some Users at my environment are not allowed to change the "Item Journal Batch"-Field, but sometimes due to server changes the value changes and these users are then using the wrong Item Journal Batch, but they can not change it.
So I would like to know wheather there is a possibility to set the Item Journal Batch for example when the Form is being opened or something like that.

Hi,

The way we have achieved this before is to setup multiple item journal templates and add a user filter to the template. When the user then launches an itme journal they can only select a filtered template and for different users the templates can behave different ways (e.g. force a posting report).
