Hi Everyone,
I know for manual flushing in Navision we have to use Consumption Journal & Output journal to record finished quantity. Can anyone of you please tell me how to get the result without using them in backflushing.
is the output is automatically recorded when we change the released to Finised?
Thanks

What exactly is your question?
If you want the output to be reported automatically whent he production order is finished, then you set the machine/work center to backwards flushing.
AP Commerce, Inc. = where I work
Getting Started with Dynamics NAV 2013 Application Development = my book
Implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV - 3rd Edition = my 2nd book
also, note that routing link codes are important when auto flushing.
If you set the work/machine centers to forward/backward flush, output will be automatically reported.

How so?

How so??? if you link components to a operation with routing link code and components have routing link codes, only linked components are flushed when you post output for that work center.

They are related and quite very well (in NAV) because if u have flushing method on Work centers as "backward" or "forward" and if u change the status of production order it will post the output.
So answer to original to question is
YES.
Though it does not match to APICS terminology.
Routing link is meant specifically for consumption as per stage means if i have 5 work centers and every work center is consuming something before i actually get my output (on last operation) i will use routing link. And routing link can be used even if i am using manual method.
