Don't know if this post belongs in Tips & Tricks...
Just got an error when setting up rights in NAV 5.0.
I setup an user with rights for Sales Orders. And added the role All.
When the user logs in the following error is shown.
The following SQL Server error(s) occurred while accessing the License Agreement table.
229,"42000",[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]The SELECT permission was denied on the object 'CompanyName$License Agreement', database 'DatabaseName', schema 'dbo'.
Solution is to add rights for tabledata 140 (new 5.0-table License Agreement) to role All. And then synchronize logins.

And when closing the session of the user I received a error "Date not valid".
This error is now also gone after changing role All.

Std. permissons are far from be completed0 -
A better question is "when were the permissions in all releases since 3.x complete?".

A must-have in future releases. In Next version permissons will get more complex. It would help having a good std base to begin.0 -
