NAs communication

Hi all,

Can two NAV Clients communicate each other
or can NAS communikate with a NAV client (send a message)?
If yes, how can I do achieve this?

    You can use a messaging table to store the messages and run a single instance codeunit with a timer trigger to show the popup messages.

    This way you can create a messenger system for Navision. You don't need a nas for that.

    You can use a table as communication mechanism. You have to have a timer that would start when the user logs into navision. The timer will check the table for message. then dispaly the messages to the user.

    Or you can use any other communication library to communicate. But you still need some mechanism to find correct target (user/PC etc. - do not forget that there can be e.g. 20 clients connected to one PC - terminal services etc.). If you just needs to send message to some user, all previous posts are right...
