This plugin makes it possible to achieve these functions in OMA for NAV 2009R2. Even if you are not using OMA, just install the automation and use codeunit 79500 in your own way. If you need help, then drop me a line – just hit the envelope next to my name, and send me an email.

For some years I have been using OMA and find it extremely useful. But it's obvious that I've found a couple of things, that I would like it to have. All my ideas has been forwarded to idyn.nl who develops OMA. But in the recent release, NAV2009 is no longer included. So I thought that now is the time to publish my OMAPlus plugin.

OMAPlus combines the use of .NET, automation, SQL scripting, CFRONT and C/AL to make it all happen. Also, the object export functionality exploits the fact that NAV reads dirty (uncommitted) data in SQL. It requires .NET Framework 3.5 or newer. But don't worry – it's easy to use.

This Tiny OCX enables Navision to make use of
- COM Objects which do not have an OCX or AutomationController (e.g. OpenOffice)
- AutomationControllers, with Methods which are using parameters as SAFEARRAYs (e.g. ImageMagick)

Presented Telegram integration in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Telegram messenger in Navision gives you the opportunity to directly communicate with mobile gadgets.
The core of the development is an automation server, created in the DotNet C# environment without use Telegram NuGet packages.
Through the Telegram Bot you send/receive messages various types: text, document, image, venue, location, contact, Audio-Video-Voice, Reply Keyboard.
The same Navision user can be the holder of several bots and vice versa, one bot can have several holders.
Supported versions: Dynamics NAV 2009 and below, Classic Client.
Integration with other versions Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central are in process.

Have you ever created a XMLport from scratch? You created the port line by line based on a schema file. Then tried to import a document and nothing happened because one or more of the dozends of tags have wrong minOccurs and/or maxOccurs values?
Then the debug session. Maybe you have written dummy lines into the triggers to see which part of the XMLport is wrong. After a long time you discovered your mistake and fixed it.

All that is over. Simply load the schema, give an object number and click "Generate". Finished!

Of course you have to change the SourceType and DataSource, but that's a small business.

Requires .NET Framework 2.0

With Dynamics NavPad Control Add-in, you edit big amouts of texts in some kind of textpad, and store it in Navision-tables (in pieces) to be able to show the content in a subform. The fieldlenght of a piece of text is adjustable. The pieces of text will be cut of at a "Space" or "Carriage Return".

This control has been inspired by the WaldoNavPad Component.

This version of Dynamics NavPad is ready for Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2013 R2

The package contains :
- Components for the RTC Client (ClientSetup.exe)
- Components For the Service (ServiceSetup.exe)
- An example of implementation (NavPad_DEMO.txt or NavPad_DEMO.fob)

NB : To register the Control Add-in, we need to execute le codeunit 71000 (NavPad Management)

Upgrading your customers’ solutions from Dynamics NAV to Business Central starts with analysis and defining the project scope. Simplanova knows that this process takes time and discussion with the customer, which is usually non-billable hours so, to make this process easier and based on statistics, we have released free objects usage log tool for all versions of Dynamics NAV (now supports all versions up to BC 14.00!)


The primary purpose of this tool is to gather information on which objects are used on the client’s Dynamics solution by monitoring users’ work. In addition, it allows getting a better view of NAV upgrade scope, as usually some old functionality or reports are not used by users anymore.

Objects Usage Log Tool tracks the user activity for a selected period and creates a record in a table every time an object is run. By deploying this tool to a production database of your customer’s solution, you will be able to track the usage of different object groups: i.e., you may select to track report usage only. Additionally, partners can choose which user’s activity to track.

The highest cost for upgrading Dynamics NAV is in object conversion. However, after analyzing clients’ Dynamics NAV object usage, partners can upgrade only these objects, which the client really uses, define the scope more clearly, and thus lower the upgrade price.
