In POS while pressing the F3 (Transaction) button to view the transaction to print a duplicate bill, an error is appearing 'Field number 0 is not defined in the Transaction Header table.' Please share your input so that it can get solved.

error purchase order and receiving posted document

Hi all.
i have a problem, 05/07/2013 i have two purchase order: PO-27390 and PO-27402:
+ On purchase order PO-27390 including item 11685, buy from vendor no V0664, item category 02
+ On purchase order PO-27402 including item 10074,10078,10053, buy from vendor no V0594, item category 01.
in the morning, good receving department recevied two order above: PO-27390 has receiving posted document is rv-24341(only item 11685); PO-27402 has receiving posted document is rv-24345(item 10074, 10078, 10053).
However, in the afternoon, my system, PO-27390 appearance item 10074, 10078, 10053 and 11685; buy from vendor no V0664---> receiving posted document is rv-24342.
==>and now, my system exits:
+ Retail purchase order: PO-27390(item 11685, 10074, 10078, 10053), buy from vendor V00664; PO-27402(item 10074, 10078,10053) buy from vendor no V0594
+ Retail posted receiving: in receiving posted document appearance rv-0024341(only item 11685, PO-227390); rv-24342(item 11685, 10074, 10078, 10053; PO-27390); rv 24345(item 10074, 10078, 10053; PO-27402)
=====> why "rv-24342(item 11685, 10074, 10078, 10053; PO-27390)" exits on my system????

z-report and opening

I just wonder, how does system handle the different found in day start and day end in GL posting, trans related tables, and z-report.
Normally, how does back office counter-check the amount? By using sales slip, z-report or.....?
Will Z-report including opening?

My case is "Flexible opening", one statement per store per day, calculate statement and post statement is done in back office, offline mode.

LS version 6.2

Day 1
Opening 0
Add/remove float 100
Sales 10
Closing 110 (100 to safe, 10 to bank)

Day 2 - with start float difference
Opening 100 (from safe, automatically suggest by system when start float)
Counted amount says 98 only (ie start float difference 2)
Sales 20
Closing 118 (118 to safe)

Day 3 - with tender declare difference
Opening 118 (from safe, automatically suggest by system when start float)
Sale 2
Closing (system = 120, counted = 119 (ie 1 different at day end)) [119 to safe]

Posting Open Statement in Store Back Office

Hi,

I'm new to LS Retail NAV.

2 work shifts of our store was not successfully calculated an statement on their Back office server. Can go back calculating thosed missed 2 work shifts and then replicated to HO?

What I have done is I create new statement but the shift date is already set as current date not the shift date that I will work back on.

Hello everyone.
At present, I am managing my marketing through a mixture of Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. I need to install some proper CRM software on my PC. I have never used CRM software. I have heard of Goldmine.
Can anyone recommend a simple application for a single user which will store contact details, notes of telephone calls and "next action" with due dates, and which will give reminders on the due date.

We have LS retail with Navision POS in our stores running smoothly now we are going to put more items for sales
My problems is new items are UOM is kg the rest are each
Now new items in KG if inventory is under 01kg system say Lot NO xxx does not exist or quantity 1 is not available
So how do i set up to let pos can sales these items that invnetory is under 1kg let say 0.5 kg

LS Retail Data Director - Bandwidth Requirement

NAV - LS Retail Implementation :

Each Store / Warehouse is connected through VPN 64 kbps full duplex bandwidth to our Head office server.

Each Outlet store is connected through DSL VPN Full Duplex wireless Network to Head office of dedicated 64 kbps full duplex Bandwidth pipeline. Each store is allowed at a time 64 kbps to 100 kbps only.

We are going to use Data director to replicate the data from store database to HO Database.

My question is, Can we run data director with this speed, or do we need some better bandwidth.

Average transactions will be 200 per day.

Can any body help how to run POS on RTC. I am using NAV 2009 R2, Addon LS Retail Version LSW16.3.

Page ID: 99008950 "EPOS Page" was run but after that nothing menu was came.

Is ther any setup needs to do.

N.B. On NAV clasic pos was running fine.

Hi All,

We have a prospect for Dynamics Retail and Point of Sale(POS).

Client is in whole sale air conditioner industry.Initially they want to go ahead with Dynamics Retails/POS on 10 machines.i,e installation & config on 10 machines.
That is the only info we have as if now. So I am not sure which system Dynamics Ax for retails / Dynamics RMS /POS shall we propose to him?or any combination of these system?Please help.
And it will be even better if someone can suggest me about total man hours(Budget) will it take to install/config any of or combination of any of above systems on all the 10 machines i.e to setup system on 10 machines.

I am having some difficulty installing Headquarters on my laptop. Am able to use the Headquarters Administrator to connect to a database using windows login. However when doing the Configuration, it is asking me for username : sa and password. Even if am giving the correct parameters, when i Test Connection, it gives me error.

Do you have any idea why?

Hello all. When I close out a transaction in Retail Management System POS this error message appears and after hitting ok the transaction disappears and RMS closes. Has anyone ever seen this before and how do I correct it? I've located the the file Ruban_Data.mdf but when I try and open it to see if I can delete some of the old transactions to make room it ask me which program created it. I've tried opening it with several different programs (ie. Store Operations Admin, Store Operations POS, and Store Operations Manager) all with no result. Does anyone have an idea which program I would need to open it with and then how to correct t he problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks RL

Adding a Currency in MS Dynamics POS

Good Morning,

I want to use GMD(Gambian Dalasis) as the currency in POS, I notice that the GMD is not in the regional settings list in the control panel so I choose Dollard and modifyed it.

When I come under POS, everything is ok but when I add a new Item I'm having an error message:

The value entered is not a valid currency value
The value must be in the regional currency format that is selected in the control panel
The previous value will be used

Any ideas?

I am implementing RMS 2.0 for one of my client which is having 84000 items,
when I connect store to HQ for taking WS-401 it took 30 min & it gave me
(Error -2147217871: Timeout expired). I have changed
connection time out for HQ client to 300 but the issue exist, any help please.

RMS-HQ-server specification:
Dell™ Optiplex™ 760, 2 GB RAM, and 240 GB HD
Microsoft Windows XP SP3, SQL 2005 SP3, and RMS 2.0 SP3

Store Operations server (one machine [server + POS]) specification:

Posiflex machine, 1 GB RAM, and 80 GB HD

searching for a point of sale solution. MS POS looks like to be appropriate,
but I'm interesting, if it's possible to extend POS's functionality? for exp.
add buttons, fields on the forms, rename them (in unicode), create reports..
that is: are MS POS partners allowed to view/change code directly (like in
NAV)?

And the second question: how do you think, NAV + MS POS will be the right
solution, or there is other better alternative (other then LS Retail)?

Server Failure 120 error

Running Store Operations Manager, every 10 seconds a window pops up with the message "Server Failure 120 : A server failure occured while attempting to list the messages."

Anyone know what the cause of this is, and how to stop this from occurring?

I tried to create a report using analysis by dimension and then I try to compare the amount of one account in my report for. e.g Sales Account and the amount of that account in the COA.

There are huge difference between them. Is there any idea why can I get these difference?

I think the value from my report and value in COA comes from the same table which is G/L entry.

We are looking at implementing RMS at a new store, something I haven't done before but it looks rather interesting. I have been playing with the till software and it's object model and need to know the answer to a 101 questions, but lets start with a simple one.

Can I write the till interface from scratch using the object model in ASP.NET and/or javascript (as the example HTML pages are written in javascript)?
