Doubt about general entries

Dear all,

(1) I want to know that in MSDN, when we only post purchase & not invoice, then there is G/L entry showing that
Inventory (interim) A/c............ DR. 28,000
To Inv. Adjustment (interim) A/c 28,000
What is the logic & concept behind it??

(2) When we post same receipt to invoice & there is showing G/L entry that
Purchase A/c........................... Dr 28,000
Inventory A/c........................... Dr 28,000
Inv. Adjustment (interim) A/c...... Dr 28,000
To Sundry Creditor/Vendor A/c 28,000
To Direct Cost Applied A/c 28,000
To Inventory (interim) A/c 28,000

I can understand Purchase A/c Dr.. To Sun. Creditor/Vendor A/c
But other entries??? I can't understand other two entries.
Can anybody help me to figure this out, what is the logic or concept behind it with the suitable explanation as soon as possible??

I have lunched the check procedure with OM, but don't works this is the message error :

Compiler (Finsql on Server) must have a value in OM - Setup : Primay Key= can't be 0 or null

Hi All,

I need to Post Bank Receipt Voucher and i have given Apply Entries through Functions--> Apply Entries. But in that Apply Entries screen if i am giving F9 in Apply - to Entry field and am getting the Error like this " You must post the application from the window where you entred the applying entry" .This error is only showing in RTC . The Classic client it is working perfectly.

Please help me to solve the issues..

Hello,

I have a sales header card request and detail request line card, so I must to link a record of Request header with a record Request Header Line; well to do that I have used
in the OnInsert trigger this sentence :

RequestLine.RESET;
RequestLine.SETRANGE("Request No.",Request."No.");
IF RequestLine.FINDLAST THEN
"Line No." := RequestLine."Line No." + 10000
ELSE
"Line No." := 10000;

The record of Request Header Line has a key formed from "Line No." and "Request No.".

I must fill my key in before that NAV adding a new record.

Hi All

The Item Ledger Entry table we have a field "Issued For".The Issued For field we have given the data like this For Eg: Branch Transfer from Bangalore,Branch Transfer from Hyderabad,Mechanical,Grinding Etc ..

I have a report using this same filed "Issued For ".but i need to filter the records like this @*BR.TRFR* in the Reports .How can i use the same filteration in the reports .

I have given the code like this

recItemLedgerEntry.SETFILTER(recItemLedgerEntry."Issued For",'<>%1','@*BR.TRFR*');

But this is not working in the reports!

Please help me out !!!

Link between GL & Invoice

Hi All

We have customized the Sales Invoice form . So when we select the order (Customized lookup field) all the informations are copied from blanket Order to the current invoice form (replicated the existing Copy Docu Functionality). But the exchange rates are wrongly entered without checking the current invoice date . All the Amount (LCY) fields are posted with the wrong exchange rate. So i would like to correct all the wrong data with the exchange rate of current posting date . But when i correct the data in GL Entry i couldn't find out the proper link with other tables. So please help me out for the proper link between Sales Invoice Line and GL Entry to update the invoice related records in GL Entry.With out document no any other unque link is available ? or can we connect through any other tables like Cust.Ledger Entry ,Value Entry & Detailed Cust.Ledger Entry.

I have a Type Field in my table its Option
Values Company and Person
I want if user select Person Then Do Nothing but If User select Company ı want take a Message ('Please Select Person')
This My Code

Hi All,

I have Posted the Purchase Invoice. After that i have applied the Purchase credit memo.Then Apply Function->Applies to Entry. Then It will Navigate to Apply Vendor Entries Screen .Here i have put the F9 in Applies -to -ID field. Here im getting the Error Message like this 'There is no Currency Exchange Rate within the filter' Filters Currency Code :EUR,Starting Date:"..".

Iam getting the issue like this. So what can i do for this same issue....

Entrepreneur is still being marketed on PartnerSource with recent (March 2009) edit dates. However, officially Microsoft have said this NAV version is dead, in UK anyway. Does anyone have any idea about the future of this product or is it well and truly dead?

Reading the Partnersource FAQ, it seems like it is Microsoft's trial of making all the products sold by distributors and turning VARs into strictly solution/service providers.
Small Business Manager based on Great Plains does not seem to have done well in the USA.
Entrpreneur does not seem low enough priced for the typical smaller company.

I think that it is possible to build webservices for Navision 5.0 using SDK. But I don´t know if it is possible in Entrepreneur. In my Entrepreneur installation doesn´t exists any SDK file. Could I use the SDK of Navision 5.0 to work with Entrepreneur??

If I can´t... Do you know any other solution for this task??

Hi, i've installed Entrepreneur on a server with 3 clients. Everything ok, no failures. Now another user who inserts new items(cards) gets kicked out of the programm and it restarts. However, i did not have any problems on the same computer under the same login. She gets following messages:

I've downloaded the Entrepeneur solution (German version)

First of all. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> Microsoft.

Verry nice user friendly version. Evene the setup of a new database with RIM included works verry fine and fast.

I know that this could be licensed for 50 users (5 concurrent).

If a customer wants tu upgrade to the Normal Navision 5.0.
* Can it be done?
* How to change the license becaus I heard that we as MBS Partners cannot get the license from Microsoft but via a SPLA Partner?
* Since Entrepeneur has different structure of tables. (Look also at the user specific definable fields) how will this be updated to the 5.0 version?

At last another question which should be in another topic.

Can I add for the customer another dataport, table, report with my license where the customer should update ahis license to use this modification?

I have installed an Entrepreneur database. Installed a Nas. And i have installed the Outlook Addin. Last week it went well. I made a synchronisation with Entrepreneur and Outlook.

Today I have installed an other laptop the same way I did last week and now I get an error in entrepreneur when I start in Entiteit Outlook-synch. It says :There is no instance of the Automation-variable made. What did I do wrong.
