Hi Guys,

we all know that when we place a "?" in all text datatype inside NAV, standard text form will show and we can get the description of it, I just found out that we can also use this when we assigning the variables in global or local, just enter ? and press enter standard text form will show and the value will be entered in the variable name. :D

Actrually very logical as it is a text field too, but hadn't thought of that at all. Good to know. Thanx.

    Hi Andwian,

Open Form Design click View->C/AL Globals on variable name place "?" then press enter or arrowdown.

Simple example go to the Item Card create new code on description field just enter ?, you can also do this in version list under object designer or anywhere inside nav as long as the datatype of the field is text. Thanks
