NF service crashes :(

Dear all,

We still have a problem in one customer site, were NF service stops from time 2 time several times a day. Installation: TCP/IP, 30 - 40 users, WinNT SP4-6. Terminal Server is connected. Below is some technical details. Navision says that the reason is "bad network packages".

Any help would be appreciated.

HP LC3, Ram 196MB, 2* Pentium II 450 MHz;
HDD: HP Net Raid Adapter: 2 * 9 GB, Raid1;NTFS
Netcard: HP 10/100 TX PCI Ethernet Adapter, protocol - TCP/IP;
PDC;
NT server 4 + sp6.

Network: UTP 10/100; Hubs - HP Procurve; Switch - Cisco Catalyst 2924.

Clients: Various, from 486 to Pentiom II;

Navision service: Cache = 114688 Kb, CommitCache = No,DB = 500000 KB, Used = 322500 KB (64%) ,TCP port = 2407

Possible cause can be malfunctioning network card or network card driver on one of workstations.

Try to upgrade to fresh version of network card driver. If network card is malfunctionaing the reason sometimes can be motherboard or incorrect irq assignments, or other, not network card itself.

Of course the hardest task here is to find which one workstation is sending bad packages.
